A novel and new application of four-wave mixing(FWM) in a
semiconductor optial amplifier (SOA) is proposed.
All-optical simultaneous code and wavelength conversion of 10 Gbit/s
binary phase shift keying (BPSK) pulse sequence codes has been
experimentally demonstrated for the first time.
